Frequently Asked Questions
When do you Meet?
Sundays at 9am, 10:30am & 12noon
Saturdays at 6pm (We call that worship gathering Encounter and it’s a bit different than Sunday)
How do I get there?
Directions
What is the service like?
A casual atmosphere.
Practical Bible teaching with application to your daily life.
Great music with a modern band.
Warm, accepting and friendly people who care.
So what makes Encounter different?
We have a different style of teaching, music and just doing church in general.
Do you have anything for my kids?
We have two vibrant programs for your children. KidsCreek is our nursery, preschool & elementary age program. Exit31 is our program for teens. Visit www.kidscreekonline.org or www.exit31youth.com for more details.
How can I be sure my kids are safe?
We have a secure check-in system for your children. When you check your child in, matching, randomly selected security numbers are printed on the child’s name tag and the parent label. Only an adult with the matching number may take a child out of his or her classroom. In addition, all of our child group leaders are cleared by PA State Police (Act 34).
What is the dress code?
We don’t have a dress code. Our service is very casual. Some of our pastors wear jeans. You are welcome to attend BranchCreek in whatever attire is most comfortable to you.
If I attend your service, will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
Much like a guest in our own homes, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. We promise to never single you out or put you on the spot. If you feel comfortable giving us your email address when you come, we can to send you more information about the church. If you prefer to remain anonymous that is fine also.
I believe in God but I drink a little too much, live with my girlfriend, smoke weed and have a mouth like a sailor. Can I show up on Sunday?
Yes, we’ll accept you where you are at. Every journey looks different and we welcome people from all walks of life. We certainly don’t have any perfect people here at our church.
Will you judge me for not believing in Christianity?
No, we’ll accept you right where you are at. You’ll be among good company; on any weekend there are dozens of people who are “testing the waters.”
I don’t look Christian, I have tattoos and my nose pierced…
Yes, we’ll accept you. As for looking Christian, we aren’t sure what a Christian “looks” like.
At my other church we had a mid-week service. Do you have a mid-week service?
Weekend worship gatherings are just the beginning of the BranchCreek experience. We believe that the bulk of spiritual growth happens in our “Small Groups” which meet in homes throughout the week. They are a place were everyone can connect, grow, serve and share.
Where did the name “BranchCreek” come from?
The name was taken from the nearby branch of the Perkiomen Creek.
I drove past your address and I don’t see anything that looks like a church. What does your church look like from the road?
