Following the mission of BranchCreek Community Church, the Health Ministry recognizes the connection between body and spirit, and strives to care for the church family and community in order for them to experience physical and spiritual health and wholeness
The Health Ministry Team is lead by a team of Medical Professionals who work closely with the Pastoral Staff and Volunteers to coordinate programs to meet the health needs of the congregation and community. No direct medical care is given, however, the Health Ministry supports health care needs by serving as:
- A referral source for community health resources
- Health educators
- Health advocates
- First aid providers
- Volunteer coordinators
- Program coordinators
- Community outreach
Ministry Programs:
Cancer Support Group
Health Screenings
Fall Flu Vaccine Clinic

POD (Montgomery County Point of Distribution)
BranchCreek Community Church is a Point of Distribution (POD) site for Lower Salford and Towamencin townships. When activated by state and county health departments, a POD is set up at a designated location to dispense medications and/or vaccines in response to a widespread public health threat. When the health of the general public is at risk, mass dispensing of medications and vaccines is complex, challenging, and must be accomplished rapidly. Although we pray it is never needed, BranchCreek must have a POD plan and volunteers in place so that we are fully prepared to handle large groups of people from our community. We are in need of volunteers to be on our listserv in the event a POD must be activated. For more information, please contact Jen Cooper: branchcreekhealth@comcast.net

I am currently a stay at home DAD. I am familiar with the MOPS program you have but havnt heard of a DOPS program. Is one available or can I attend the MOPS programs.
Currently we don’t have any DOPS programs but it sounds like a great subject for a small group!
