Who Are We?

We know how awkward it can be to visit a church for the first time. We pray BranchCreek is a great place to meet people who care about you and your spiritual journey.  If you need directions click here for Location & Service Times. We answer Frequently Asked Questions, but if your question isn’t on the list give us a call 215.256.0100 or ask online at http://www.branchcreek.org/questions.

Who we are: It all started in 1975 the year of  the Bee Gees, Saturday Night Live, Rocky Horror Picture Show and bad fashion. This fledgling church “experiment” had grown out of the desire of several Christian couples to bring Jesus’ love and care to their unchurched community. They met that fall in Ernie and Naomi Clemmer’s farmhouse kitchen for their first worship gathering.

Bucking the judgmental trend of the time, BranchCreek managed to turn itself inside-out  into a “prodigal-hugging” church.  To this day, the church seeks to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere that is understandable to newcomers, eliminating “christianese” and other barriers.

And, that’s what BranchCreek Community Church is all about. Not only are we passionate about adults, but also our children and students. We believe them to be some of the greatest influencers of our church today.

We want to meet you in your comfort zone, with Biblical teaching and messages that deal with everyday challenges, hopes and heartbreaks. Whatever your circumstances—single, married, single again —and no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, you matter to God. So put on your favorite pair of jeans or whatever you feel comfortable in and check us out this weekend to hear the good news of Jesus.
