Youth : Exit31
Middle School 6th-8th Grade
SUNDAY MORNING:
Classes are offered during all three of our services on Sunday morning. At 9am and 12pm join us in Room 111 and at 10:30am we meet down in the Exit31 Community Center.
SUNDAY NIGHT:
“Gather in a cool place to make friends, hang out, and help each other on the journey of seeking God.”
We provide 4 key experiences for students on Sunday nights:
1) An awesome time of worship that helps students give God center stage
2) Practical teaching to help students in their relationship with God and those around them
3) Activity & café time- where students can get involved in a variety of activities or just sit and hang out with friends
4) small groups for students to connect with their peers and an adult mentor for a time of mutual encouragement & relationship building.
Doors open at the Exit31 Community Center at 6pm and we conclude at 8pm.
High School 9th-12th Grade
Classes are offered during our three services on Sunday morning in the church center.
There is also a weekday program for this age group. It meets on Wednesday evenings in the Student Center from 6-8:30pm. The evening includes worship, interaction and teaching, and small groups.
*On Sunday morning, teens staying for more than one service are encouraged to find a place to serve during the second service. They are welcomed and trained to work with the KidsCreek or a variety of other ministry arenas.
X31 [2.5] After School
Exit 31 [2.5] is based on the conviction that while all people matter to God, Jesus holds a special place in His heart for young people. Available each week (except on holidays or if school is cancelled) on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons from 2:30-5 pm in the Exit31 Community Center throughout the school year. It will be facilitated and monitored by Exit31 staff and trained volunteers who are also passionate about reaching youth. To attend, each student must have a signed specialized [2.5] consent form on file with the Exit31 Student Ministry Office.
The offerings for [2.5] will include art & cooking classes, a computer lab with Internet access for homework, and sports activities – along with areas for hanging out, doing homework, and connecting with other youth. Future offerings will consist of tutoring and a wide array of informal classes aimed at equipping youth with life skills (some courses may have a small materials fee). The Exit31 cafe will also make food available for a nominal cost and will promote healthy options for afterschool snacking.
